"Chris and his team went above and beyond for us! Our deck ended up being very 'custom,' due to the age of our home and how 'not square' everything was. They even had to customize every stair tread! I cannot say enough good things about Chris and his team. From the estimate, planning, tear down, to the execution of our new deck and everything in between, they went above and beyond. He came to my home and gave me some ideas as to what I could expect if I chose his company. I stated what I wanted to have done and what I was willing to spend on the job. I received a complete price quote from him via email that same evening. All materials and pricing were included in the detailed estimate. The entire project took about two and a half days to complete. The first day the old deck was removed. Construction began on my new deck early the next morning. He called me back that same day, and we scheduled a time for him to come out to my new home. Right from the start, I could tell that Chris was the man for the job. He was personable, professional, and he knew what he was doing. "We wanted a deck that would surround our above ground pool, allow for some extra lounging space in one area, and provides privacy from a closer neighbor. Our yard has a more than slight downgrade, and it seemed like a project that my husband and I did not want to tackle on our own - good thing because this was a huge undertaking!

We found Chris here on Craig's list and got an estimate from him and another contractor. From the start, we felt very confident in his company. He returned our call promptly, scheduled an initial meeting to discuss all the details, and soon after had not only a firm number but a detailed drawing of what we planned. It looked amazing on paper, which, by the way, is nothing compared to the final product! He thought of everything. The other contractor - didn't even compare when it came to experience, preparedness in the plan, numbers which were way too low and would have resulted in him asking for more money and cutting corners and professionalism.

We had the first project of the season and needed to wait for the snow to melt and the ground to thaw, but as soon as it did, Chris and his team went to work. They worked every day until the project was completed; only taking a couple of days off to attend the home show, which he coordinated with us in advance. They showed up on time, cleaned up every day, and were very courteous.

The end result? What we had imagined it to be "just a deck around our pool" turned into a masterpiece. Maybe that's a crazy description, but we were absolutely blown away by how incredible it looks! It is a complete transformation of what we had and envisioned it to be. It's so nice that we're already planning for when the pool is no longer functional to replace it with a gazebo so we can still functionally enjoy the deck.

We highly recommend Chris for any project you have. Yes, he put in a deck for us, but the deck was detailed and required more than just footers and boards across a frame. He designed it to have a darker color border around the mainboards and stairs and highlighted it with white rails. Oh, the privacy from the neighbors he added privacy fence panels in that section. We have a trap door to access the return basket and the pump area. Lattice covers under the section, and the whole thing is trimmed out beautifully! So, he does more than just build decks. He and his teammates are skilled craftsmen. They know what they are doing and take pride in their work!"
